In My Song 5, the Haim sisters are all on the set of a trashy talk show, hosted by Saturday Night Live’s Vanessa Bayer, where a number of guests go on to make shocking confessions. A woman reveals her fear of cotton balls, Kesha admits that she’s in love with her cat Mr. Boots and that secret bassist Este Haim had in the trailer we saw? Nope, it wasn’t bass face — she has a thing for mimes! What!
And that’s not all, this video is packed with even more surprise cameos like a Where’s Waldo of indie rock stars and rappers. Grimes can be found backstage chatting up lead singer Danielle Haim, Vampire Weekend’s Ezra Koenig and Big Sean are sitting in the audience and the track’s guest rapper A$AP Ferg airs out some dirty laundry on this fake talk show with his girlfriend.
This totally sounds bonkers, and you’ve gotta keep a keen eye out throughout the video to spot some of the trickier cameos, but it is an overall triumph of a music video that we can’t stop watching. Check it out below!
